Overloaded intermittent grid

Grids that experience blackouts or capacity limits

Many growth economies experience electricity demand that exceeds supply from the grid, resulting in frequent power blackouts.
Facilities require their own backup power plants, used as often as daily.

The result is high energy cost, pollution, and risk of interrupted supply for expensive diesel, fuel oil or Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). Unlike solar systems that lack storage, Terrajoule systems can maintain full plant operation when grid power is interrupted.

The payback is fast because the systems offset the cost of both diesel and grid electricity.
